Job Templates are used to prefill specifications on an item more quickly. It is a general base for setting up similar items and products. The templates can be setup with the most common or lowest base of specs and then they can be customized on the quote or order to fit the request. Job templates make it possible for new users to learn how to create and quote simple jobs without the help of an estimator.
Default Quantities allow users to quote multiple common quantities in one action. These quantities will appear in the pricing table of an item. One quantity can be selected and this will be the default quantity for the item when added to an order.
Note: If default quantities are added but a selected quantity has not been designated, an error message will generate when the template is added to an order.
Adding Default Quantities
Step Action
1. Select {Default Quantities} on the right-hand side of screen to auto scroll to
Default Quantities section.
2. Select {New} under Default Quantities. A New Quantity modal window will
open.
4. Enter quantity.
5. Select {Save} to add a single quantity or {Save and Add New} to save and add multiple quantities.
A results window will pop-up to indicate the quantity has been saved.
Selecting a Default Quantity
Once default quantities have been added, one quantity can be selected and this will be the item quantity when added to an order. (ie. All default Quantities will show on the item's pricing table but the selected default quantity is the one that will populate as chosen.
Step Action
1. Select {Default Quantities} on the right-hand side of screen to auto scroll to
Default Quantities section.
2. Check box to left-hand side of quantity.
3. Select {Select Quantity}. A pop-up will confirm the quantity has been selected. The selected quantity will be highlighted in yellow.
Editing Default Quantities
Step Action
1. Select {Default Quantities} on the right-hand side of screen to auto scroll to
Default Quantities section.
2. Hover mouse over quantity to be edited and select the pencil icon that appears. An Edit Quantity
modal window will open.
3. Make required changes.
4. Select {Save} to edit a single quantity or {Save and Add New} to save and add multiple quantities.
A pop-up will confirm the quantity has been saved.
Deleting Default Quantities
Step Action
1. Select {Default Quantities} on the right-hand side of screen to auto scroll to
Default Quantities section.
2. Select entries under Default Quantities to be deleted by checking boxes on
the left-hand side.
Note: The Selected Default Quantity cannot be deleted.
3. Select {Delete}. A window will pop-up to confirm selected items to be deleted.
4. Select {OK} to delete selected items. A pop-up will confirm the selected
quantities have been deleted.
