A B2C Variable Template allows the end user to format fields in a free form manner to suit their design needs. Please note that there are sample file assets at the bottom of this article available for download.



Step 1: Import a Design

  • On the Home screen, click on Visit Designs
  • Click on New > Import (a sample file is available at the bottom of this article)
  • Right click on your Design to Rename your design to Business Card (Template Based)


Step 2: Product Specifications

  • Click on Product Specifications > Create New
  • Name > Business Card (Template Based)
  • Personalization Workflow > Template-based Print Product Editor
  • Design > Business Card (Template Based)
  • Save


Step 3: Test

  • Click on the Test button to preview what your customer will see online.
     
  • Settings > Online Configuration > Products
  • Locate or Create Product
  • Edit
  • Enable Edit Mode
  • Online Tab - scroll down to Variable Template and select the correct Product Specification
