Job templates are generally generic types of jobs that are used as a base for quote/order items and products. They can be setup with the most common or lowest base of specs and can be customized on the item or product to fit the request. Job templates can make it possible for new users to learn how to create and quote simple jobs without the help of an estimator.
Inactivating Template Options.
Step Action
1. Select {Settings} then select {Job Templates} under Dockets.
2. Select name of Job Template to open the Job Template edit page.
3. Select entries under Template Options to be inactivated by checking boxes
on the left-hand side. All entries can be inactivated by checking box to right of
{New} under Template Options.
4. Select {Inactivate}. A window will pop-up to confirm items to be deleted.
5. Select {Ok}. A results window will pop-up to confirm templates successfully inactivated.
Once the template is inactivated, it will no longer be visible on the templates table as the default search filter on Templates set to Active Templates and Template Options.
Activating Template Options
Step Action
1. Select {Settings} then select {Job Templates} under Dockets.
2. Change search filter 'Active Template Options' to No and then select {Search}.
3. Check boxes to left-hand side of Template Options to be activated.
4. Select {Bulk Actions} and then select {Template Options} from the drop-down.
5. Toggle {Active} switch to Yes.
6. Select {Save}. A results window will pop-up to confirm template successfully saved.
The Template Options will now be activated.
