General Ledger Accounts
A General Ledger, or GL, is a means for keeping record of a company's total financial accounts. DocketManager allows you to track the following accounts:
Asset Accounts
- Accounts Receivable
- Deposit Types
Liability Accounts
- Deposit on Invoice (a holding account for payments made on unposted / open orders).
- Tax Types
Expense Accounts
- Discount
Revenue Accounts
- Cutting
- Shipping
- Postage
- Outsourced Types
- Timer Rates
- Department Items
- Presses
- Stocks
Create a GL Account
- Under GL Accounts click New
- Enter the GL Name and Account Number
- Click Save.
If you are adding multiple GL Accounts click the down arrow next to Save to Save & Add New.
