There are 3 different types of Customer Goods:
- Finished Goods - This is a finished customer product.
Example: Standard Envelopes with the company logo.
- Customer Supplied Goods - This is a product supplied by the customer. It usually does not have a price associated. There is an associated customer instead of a replenishment product, as the product is supplied by the customer.
Example: Promotional hats a customer would like included on any order they send.
- Shell Stock - This is an unfinished product and it requires further production to complete the good.
Example: A partially printed background on a business card that will have the individual card details printed on at a later date.
Notes: The replenishment product on a customer good will be based off of a product.
For more information on creating products, see Products - Adding a New Product.
Customer goods must have a depletion productadded before a good can be depleted. For more information about depletion, see Customer Goods - Depletion.
