Departments Items can be used to add additional charges to a job. They can be graphics, finishing, misc charges, etc. Items can be priced by time and/or piece, linked to supplies for depletions, and tracked with timers.
Adding Production Waste Scales
Step Action
1. Select {Pricing} on the right-hand side of screen to auto scroll to
Pricing section. Scroll down to Waste.
2. Select {New} under Waste. A New Waste Scale modal will open.
3. Complete the fields.
Field | Description |
Press Sheets Up To | Enter in the end quantity for the waste scale. e.g. 1st Scale: 500 (from 1 -500) 2nd Scale: 1000 (from 501 - 1000) |
Flats Waste | Enter the Flat Waste. Flat Waste are the amount of sheets that you want calculated per job. |
Additional Overs | Enter the Additional Overs. Additional Overs is the percentage you want added to the job. The press run will calculate by the percentage entered. |
4. Select {Save} to add a single scale or {Save and Add New} to save and add additional waste
scales. A results window will pop-up to indicate the waste scale has been saved.
Editing Production Waste Scales
Step Action
1. Select {Pricing} on the right-hand side of screen to auto scroll to
Pricing section. Scroll down to Waste.
2. Hover mouse over the name of waste scale to be edited. A pencil icon
will appear on the right-hand side of the name. Select the pencil icon.
A modal Edit Waste Scale window will open.
3. Make required changes.
4. Select {Save} to add a single scale or {Save and Add New} to save and add additional waste
scales. A results window will pop-up to indicate the waste scale has been saved.
Deleting Production Waste Scales
Step Action
1. Select {Production} on the right-hand side of screen to auto scroll to
Production section.
2. Select entries under Waste to be deleted by checking boxes on the left-hand
side. All entries can be deleted by checking box to left of {New} under
Waste.
3. Select {Delete}. A window will pop-up to confirm selected items to be
deleted.
4. Select {OK} to delete selected items. A results window will pop-up to
indicate the selected department item waste scales have been deleted.
