Notes are can be added on various pages in DocketManager for internal documentation purposes. These notes can function differently depending on where they have been created.
Examples:
- A Customer sticky note will copy to any order or quote for that Customer.
- A Stock sticky note will copy to any order item or product using that stock.

Adding a New Note
Step Action
1. Select + icon from the Notes section.
A New Note modal will open.
2. Complete the fields.
Field | Action |
Label | Select a Label from the drop-down. |
Sticky (Option not available on all notes) | Default set to No. If toggle switched to Yes, drop-down will become visible to add a Type. |
Type (Option not available on all notes) | Select applicable note types from the drop-down. The Type options cannot be customized and will vary based on where the note is being created. |
Note Content | Enter note content. Note: The icons on the bottom left corner can be used to toggle between design mode, html mode, and preview mode. For longer notes, a scroll bar will appear on the right-hand side to allow for easier viewing of content OR you can resize the note content window by click, hold the small triangle in the bottom right corner of the note content and drag to make it larger. |

3. Select {Save}. A results window will pop-up to indicate the note saved successfully.
Editing Notes
Step Action
1. Hover mouse over the name of note to be edited and select the pencil icon
that appears on the right-hand side of the name. An Edit Note modal will open.
2. Make required changes.
3. Select {Save}. A results window will pop-up to indicate the note saved successfully.
Deleting Notes
Step Action
1. Hover mouse over the name of note to be deleted and select the garbage can icon
that appears on the right-hand side of the name. A window will pop-up to confirm selected item
to be deleted.
2. Select {OK}. A pop-up will confirm the selected note has been deleted.
