Create a Shipment
To create a Shipment click on the + icon to the right of Shipments from the Order page.

Name
Internal naming convention to organize and label shipments.
Ship Date
Auto-populates when the shipment is created. This field can be adjusted if necessary.
Tracking Number
You can manually enter the Tracking Number of the shipment into this field. When using Shippo this field will auto fill.
Origin Location
The physical address of your business which is set in Settings > Admin > Account > Account Details. To edit for a single Shipment click on the edit pencil in the shipment window.
Billing Location
Auto-populated by the Billing Address selected when the order was created. Hover over the field and click on the pencil to edit.
Destination Location
Auto-populated by the Shipping Address selected when the order was created. Hover over the field and click on the pencil to edit.
Shipment Notes
An internal field to keep track of notes and specifics of a Shipment.
Parcels
Parcels can be created to ship partial or full amounts of an order item(s) to different addresses. Parcels also allow you to charge separate Tax Rates on items shipped. Learn more about Parcels
Multi Parcel
Taxable
Toggle to Yes or No to apply tax to thew shipment. The Default setting for this toggle can be found in Settings > Accounting > Financial > Shipping Taxable.
Tax Rate
The Tax Rate that will be applied to the Shipment if Shipping Taxable is toggled to Yes.
Cost
The Cost of the Shipment from your Carrier.
Default Handling Fee
The markup of that is applied to the Cost to generate a Price. To set a Default Handling Fee default navigate to Settings > Dockets > General > Order Defaults > Default Handling Fee.
Price
Cost + Default Handling Fee will auto calculate the Price field. This field can also be overridden with the desired price of the Shipment.
