Option A. Setup a Single SMTP User Integration
This option will utilize one email address to display sent messages.
- Navigate to Settings > Admin > Integrations > Outgoing Mail (SMTP Server) and follow the instructions below.
Option B. Setup Multiple SMTP User Integrations
This option allows you to display sent messages from each user in your DocketManager site.
- Navigate to Settings > Admin> Account > Edit User > Integrations and follow the instructions below.
Integration Settings
- Complete the following fields under the Email section.
- Set up an App Password to be used in the credentials above.
Field | Description |
Host Name | smtp.gmail.com |
Port | Enter the Port: 587 (Required) |
Username | Enter your email address. |
Password | Gmail App Password (see Setup App Password below) |
SSL | Select to switch SSL to Yes - this is required by Gmail. |
Setup App Password
Set up an App Password to be used in the credentials above.
To do this, click on the following link which will take you to your Gmail Security Settings: https://myaccount.google.com/security
Under Signing In To Google click App Passwords
Select Mail and then select Other (Custom Name)
Enter a name for this authorized app password such as DocketManager then click Generate
A password will be generated for use with DocketManager. Use this password in the integration instead of your email password.
After adding the Gmail App Password, select Save. A window will pop-up to confirm Email settings successfully saved.
A panel will now appear to allow mail server to be tested.
Testing Mail Server
Test email will use the MIS from Name/Address as the sending mail address and will send the test email to the address provided by the user.
Enter the To Email Address and select Send.
