Portals - Registering for a Customer


A contact can register directly for their companies portal by adding their Customer ID to the portal registration url.


To obtain the Customer ID:

Step      Action

  1.        Select {CRM}. The page should open on the Customer tab.

  2.        Use search functions to locate the desired customer.

  3.        Select the Customer Name to open the Customer View page.

  4.        The Customer ID will be in the URL of the customer view page. 



To Register a Contact for the Customer:

Step      Action

  1.        Select {Settings} and then select {Online Configuration} under Online Ordering . The Online Configuration page will open.

  2.        Select the URL for the desired portal.

             A new tab will open with the portal.

  3.        Select {Register} on the portal. The Registration page will open.


  4.        Add '&Customer' and then the Customer ID to the portal URL and hit {Enter}. 


    The Portal Registration page will refresh. 

    Note: Company Name and Website fields will no longer be visible on Registration page.

  5.        Complete the fields.

  6.        Select {Register}.
