The Point of Sale is divided into the following sections.
Products
The following options are available in this section:
- Search Field
- Product Catalog shortcuts
- Available Products
Order Information
Customer / Contact
The first option on the right side of the POS window allows you to choose or Add a Customer and a Contact. The Default Customer that appears can be managed in Settings > Dockets > General > Default Order Customer.
Cart
The Cart section displays the Products that have been added and offers you the ability to choose a Quantity and make additional customizations by clicking on the down blue arrow. To remove a Product from the Cart you can click on the x icon.
Additional Options
Below the Cart you have the ability to:
- Add a Discount.
- Enter a PO Number.
- View the Subtotal, Tax and Total amounts.
- Cancel the Order
- Add Notes
- Pay Now (the arrow to the right allows for a Credit Card payment option if an integration exists)
- Place Order (the arrow to the right allows you to create a Quote)
