Create a Point of Sale Order


Customer and Contact

  • Select Point of Sale from the left side navigation menu. 
  • Select a customer and contact for the order. (For more information, see POS-Customers/Contacts)


Order Items

  • Use the Search field to find a specific Product.
  • The Product Catalog options can also be used to narrow down your search.
  • Once you have located the desired products click Add to Cart.



Cart Modifications

  • Review the Cart and make any required changes.         
  • Note: Products can be modified once added to the cart. (For more information, see POS - Modifying Cart Products)


PO Number and Discount

  • A PO Number can be added to the order if necessary.
  • There is also an option to add a Discount (% or $).


Notes, Pay Now, and Place Order

  • Notes can also be added to the order. For more information on adding notes, see General - Notes.
  • Once all the order information has been completed, the order can be created by entering a payment or by selecting Place Order. For more information on making a payment, see POS - Payments.


A new order will be created and the Order's view page will open.

Note: If you do not want to place the order, select Cancel Order. All order information will be cleared if the order is canceled.
