Department item groups are a way to organize your department items to make them easier to find when adding them to quotes and orders.


Creating a New Department Item Group

Step    Action

  1.      Select {Settings} and then select {General} under Dockets.

  2.      Select {Department Item Groups} on the right-hand side of screen to auto

           scroll to Department Item Groups section.



  3.      Select {New} under Department Item Groups. A New Department Item

           Group modal window will open.



  4.      Enter new department item group name.

  5.      Select {Save} to add a single department item group or {Save & Add New} to save and 

           add additional department item groups. A window will pop-up to confirm Department Item 

           Group added successfully.


 

Editing a Department Item Group

Step    Action

  1.      Select {Settings} and then select {General} under Dockets.

  2.      Select {Department Item Groups} on the right-hand side of screen to auto

            scroll to Department Item Groups section.




  3.       Hover mouse over the name of Department Item Group to be edited and select the pencil 

            icon that appears on the right-hand side of the name. An Department Item Group modal

            window will open.



 4.      Make required changes.

 5.      Select {Save} to add a single department item group or {Save & Add New} to save and 

          add additional department item groups. A window will pop-up to confirm Department Item 

          Group added successfully.


Department item groups can also be added from the department item level.


Creating a New Department Item Group within Department Items

Step    Action

  1.      Select {Settings} and then select {Department Items} under Dockets.

  2.      Under Configuration, select the [+] button to create a new department item group.




Deleting a Department Item Group

Step    Action

  1.      Select {Settings} and then select {General} under Dockets.

  2.      Select {Department Item Groups} on the right-hand side of screen to auto

           scroll to Department Item Groups section.

  3.      Select entries under Department Item Groups to be deleted by checking

           boxes on the left-hand side. All entries can be deleted by checking box to right

           of {New} under Department Item Groups.


 

  4.      Select {Delete}. A window will pop-up to confirm selected items to be deleted.

  5.      Select {OK} to delete selected items. A results window will pop-up to indicate

           the selected department item groups have been deleted.
