One way to reduce the number of Products needed online or on the POS is to utilize Product Attributes.

Product Attributes allow you to offer preset Stock choices or Department Item driven selections such as Folding.

Note: When using group products online, ONLY the primary item's product attributes will display.

CREATING PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES

Online Ordering > Products > Product Item > Enable Edit Mode > Online Panel

Click the {+} icon at the top-right of the Product Attributes table.

Name

This is the call to action that will appear to the end user online. Examples "Choose a Stock", "Folding Options".

Type

You can choose Stock or Department Item as a Type. This selection will determine what options are presented after you click New.

Required

Is the end user required to make a selection or can the dropdown be left blank?

Attributes

• Click the {New} button
• Click the {+} button next to the attribute(s) you want added as selections for the end user to choose from
• Click the {Add} button
• Toggle the Add to Price switch to "Yes" if the attribute should add onto the Product Item Price
• Click {Save}

EDITING PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES

Once a Product Attribute exists, it can be edited by clicking the {Pencil} icon when hovering over the Product Attribute Name.

DELETING PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES

Once a Product Attribute exists, it can be deleted by selecting the Attribute from the Product Attributes List and clicking the {Trash} icon.
