For GL account allocation, since all revenues are pointing to specific GL accounts in the system, if we’re crediting a posted order we need to pull revenue out of GL accounts for the purpose of a credit. To do this, we click on the {Prefill from Order items} button, find the order item that we're looking for, and mark how much money we want out of certain GL Accounts. GL Account Allocation can be prefilled from an order or manually entered.

To prefill from order items:

Step     Action

   1.      In an entry, Select {Prefill From Order Items} under GL Account Allocation. An Add 

            Items modal window will open.

   2.      Select items to be added.



   3.      Select {Add}. The items will now appear under GL Account Allocation.



Once the system has prefilled GL Account Allocation from selected order items, the amounts can be manually adjusted by entering new value in the corresponding amount field.
