To save time creating standard multi-part jobs, these Group Templates can be inserted into an order or quote for any customer.


Ungrouped Products can be added from scratch, added new from an existing template, or inserted.

To add a new Ungrouped Product from Scratch:

Step      Action

  1.        Select {Settings} and then select {Group Templates} under Dockets.

  2.        Select {New} under Ungrouped Products. A New Group Template Item page will 

             open on the Details tab.

  3.      Complete the Details fields.

Field
Description
Number
The Number will be systemically generated.  
Name
Enter a Name for the order item.
Description
Enter a Description for the order item.
Insert Job Template


Select to Insert Job Template. An Add Job Template modal will open.
Check the box on the left-hand side of template to be added and select {Add}.
Units of Measure

Select an option from the drop-down that connects quantity and sets. (i.e. 500 Pads of 50)

Note: These options can be modified. (See Dockets-Units of Measure)

Sets

Enter a value for the number of repeat artwork on a job. (i.e. 50 sheets for a pad, 31 sets of 3 part NCR)
Versions

Enter a value for the number of items with the same specifications but different art. (i.e. 2 names for a business card, 2 brochures - 1 English and 1 French)
Sheets

Enter a value for the number of physical Sheets it takes to make one finished piece. (i.e. 20 page booklet is 5 sheets, 3 sheets corner stapled is 3 sheets)
Pages

Enter value for the number of Pages in an item (i.e. 20 page booklet is 20 pages)

Note: This value is just informational.

Item Type
Select an Item Type from the drop-down menu.

Note: These options can be modified. (See Dockets-Item Types)

Statuses

Select some Statuses from the drop-down menu.

Note: These options can be modified. (See Dockets-Statuses)

Graphics, Press, Finishing, Shipping, and Item Due Date

Select Graphics, Press, Finishing, Shipping, and Item Due Date using the pop-up calendar.

Note: Selecting an Order Due Option will automatically adjust these dates.

Time Sensitive

Select Yes or No depending on if item is Time Sensitive.

Note: If Yes selected, a time picker is activated on all due dates.

Order Due Options

Select an Order Due Option.

The Graphics, Press, Finishing, Shipping, and Item Due Date will automatically adjust based on your selection.

Note: These options can be modified. (See Dockets-Order Due Options)

Graphic Artist
Select a Graphic Artist to assign from the drop-down menu.
Assign To
Select an Assign To individual from the drop-down menu.
Tags

Select some Tags from the drop-down menu.

Note: These options can be modified. (See Dockets-Tags)

   

  4      Select {Save} or {Save and View}. The Save and View option will save graphics details and 

           open the Order Item view page.


  Note: The newly created group template item will now appear under Ungrouped Products

  on the Group Templates page. 



To add new Ungrouped Product from Template:

Step     Action

  1.       Select arrow icon on the right-hand side of {New} under Ungrouped Products. Select 

            {New From Template}. An {Add Job Template} modal will open.


  2.       Select templates to be added by checking box to left-hand side of the item's 

            Group. To add all items, check box on the left-hand side above Group column.      

  3.       Select {Add}. A results window will pop-up to confirm the items that have been created 

            from template and they will now appear under Ungrouped Products



To insert new Ungrouped Products:

Step     Action

  1.       Select {Insert} under Ungrouped ProductsAn {Add Products} modal will open.

  2.       Select products to be added by checking box to left-hand side of the Item#. To add all items, 

            check box on the left-hand side above Item# column.      

  3.       Select {Add}. A results window will pop-up to confirm the Order Item added and items will 

            now appear under Ungrouped Products
