The Lock to Formula determines how to calculate the quantity for a department item. There are several preset formulas but these options can also be customized. For more information, see Department Items - Creating a New Lock To Formula.

The Lock to Modifier allows you to multiply or divide the Lock to Formula by a set Modifier Amount.

Examples:

• Shrink Wrapping in sets of 250

• Lock to Formula = Quantity
• Lock to Modifier = Divide By 
• Modifier Amount = 250

• 4 Rounded Corners on a Business Card

  • Lock to Modifier = Multiply By
