New items (on orders, quotes, and products) can be added in multiple ways from the Items table:
- Quick Add
- From Template
- From Scratch
- From Group Template
Existing items can also be inserted.
Items - Quick Add:
Quick add allows for the product item to be created using a simplified form.

Items - From Template:
Step Action
1. Select {New} under Items and then select {From Template}. An {Add Job Template}
modal will open.
2. Select templates to be added by using the {+} button to left-hand side of the item's Group.
3. Select {Add}.
4. A results window will pop-up to confirm the items that have been created from template.
Items - From Scratch:
From Scratch allows for the product item to be created from the Item Edit page, where every detail is available. For more information, see Items - Creating a New Item from Scratch.
Items - From Group Template:
Group Template allows for a preset group of items to be added. For more information, see Group Templates.
Step Action
1. Select {New} under Items and then select {From Group Template}. An {Add Group
Products} modal will open.
2. Select templates to be added by checking box to left-hand side of the item's
Group. To add all items, check box on the left-hand side above Group column.
3. Select {Add}.
4. A results window will pop-up to confirm the items that have been created from template.
Items - Insert:
Insert allows for existing items (from products, orders, quotes, or group templates) to be added as items. The new item will retain details from the original item inserted including: stock, pricing, commission, etc.
Step Action
1. Select {Insert} under Items. An Add Item modal window will open.
2. Select items to be added by using the {+} button to the left-hand side of the Item #.
3. Select {Add}. A results window will pop-up to confirm the items successfully added to the
order.
