The Online Ordering Item tab will only appear on Product Items.

Note: When using Group Products online, ONLY the primary item's Online Ordering details will display. All online details (portal access, catalog, etc.) should be configured on the online tab of the first product in the group.

  1.      Complete or edit the applicable fields under Online tab.

Product CatalogA Product Catalog can be added by selecting an option from the drop-down.

Note: Catalog name displays in the drop-down as 'Catalog Name - Internal Catalog Name'. Only the Catalog Name will be visible online.
Note: Fields for additional product catalogs can be added by selecting + icon. This will create nested catalog listing when the product appears online (e.g. Primary Catalog = Marketing, Secondary Catalog = Postcard)

External IdentifierEnter an External Identifier.
Order Due OptionsSelect some Order Due Options from the drop-down menu.

These will be the order due options visible online for this product.
Meta DescriptionAdd a description using meta keywords.
Meta KeywordsAdd Meta Keywords.
Online Message
Enter an Online Message in the design mode field.
Point of SaleSwitch default set to NO. If switched to YES, product will be included in POS.
PublicSwitch default set to No. If switched to YES, the product will be visible on a browsable portal when not logged in.

Note: If the Public switch has been set to YES, the Add Contacts access table switches to Excluded Contacts. This means that the contacts listed will be excluded from seeing this product on the portal when logged in.
Allow File UploadSwitch default set to No. If switched to Yes, file upload is allowed.
Customer Can Specify Quantities
Switch default set to No. If switched to Yes, the option to add a Quantity Range becomes available.
Quantity RangeEnter values for the Quantity Range.
Notes: 
  • This option only becomes visible when Customer Can Specify Quantities toggle set to YES.
  • When using group products online, ONLY the primary items quantity will display.
Product PricingThis allows for a customized Product Pricing table to be used for online products instead of those from the Pricing tab.

Note: If the Pricing tab quantities table has overridden price values, those values will supersede those setup for Product pricing. Any overridden price values should be removed from the Pricing tab if you would like calculate by Template Option or Product to be utilized.

Product Attributes
Product Attributes (including stock and department items) can be added to Online Products.

Variable TemplatesSelect a Variable Template option from the drop-down menu.

Note: When using group products online, ONLY the primary items variable templates will display.

Shipping

Note: Shipping options can be utilized to create combined shipments. For more information see Shipping - Combined Shipments. 
Box  To add a Shipping Box:
1. Select {New} under Shipping Box. A New Shipping Box modal window will open. 
2. Select a Box from the drop-down menu and then enter a value for the Quantity Per.
3. Select {Save}. A results window will pop-up to confirm item box quantity scale saved.

*Multiple Shipping Boxes can be added to account for different quantities per box.
WeightTo add a Shipping Weight:
Enter value for the Shipping Weight, select Mass Units from the drop-down menu, and then enter value for Per.
Exclude From Shipping  Used if you want to offer some items free of shipping. When it is toggled to Yes, that product item will be excluded for shipping calculations.
AccessPortalsSelect some Portal options from the drop-down menu.

These are the portals that this product will be visible on.
ContactsThese are the Contacts that will/will not have access to this product online.

Note: If the Public switch has been set to YES, the Add Contacts switches to Excluded Contacts. This means that the contacts listed will be excluded from seeing this product on the portal when logged in.

To Add/Exclude Contacts:
1. Select {Add} under Contacts. An Add Contacts modal window will open.
2. Check boxes on the left-hand side of name to select contacts.
3. Select {Add}.  A results window will pop-up to confirm contacts added successfully.

     

  2.       Select {Save}.
