To save time creating standard multi-part jobs, these Group Templates can be inserted into an order or quote for any customer.
Ungrouped Template Items can be grouped from the Group Template view page.
To navigate to Group Templates, select {Settings} and then select {Group Templates} under Dockets section.
Step Action
1. From the Group Templates page, select entries under Ungrouped Products to be grouped by checking boxes on the
left-hand side.
2. Select {Group}. A New Item Group modal window will open.
3. Complete the fields.
Note: When using group products online, the product will display online with the group name and description.
The Product online
- will utilize thumbnail from the primary item for online product image
- will ONLY display the primary items quantity and will update all items to be that same quantity
- will ONLY display the primary items product attributes and variable templates

Description | Enter a Description for the item group. |
Quantity | Enter a Quantity for the item group. All items will be updated to this quantity Note: If left blank, each item in the group will retain it's existing quantity. If an item is added after the group is created, the new item will not change to the group's primary quantity. Group item edit or bulk actions can be used to update all items to the same quantity. |
Display Type | Select Primary or Summed from the drop-down. Primary display's the primary item's quantity. Summed will add up all the items in the group and display that value. |
4. Select {Save}. A results window will pop up to indicate the order
item group saved. The items will now appear in a new group under Grouped Products.
Adding items to an existing group:

1. Select the group entry under Ungrouped Items and the group it will be added to by checking
boxes on the left-hand side.
2. Select {Group}. A results window will pop-up to confirm items added to group. The added
items will join the grouped items on the table.
Note: When an item is added to an existing group, the item's quantity will not change to the group's primary quantity. Group edit or bulk actions can be used to update grouped items to be the same quantity.
