Tags are great way to identify and organize your customers, contacts, vendors, and suppliers. You can create as many tags as you need and multiple tags can be applied to one individual.


Note: Customer Tags are different from Order/Item Tags. For more information on Order/Item Tags, see Dockets - Tags.


Here are some examples of the types of tags that might be useful:

  • customers with similar industries
  • vendors/suppliers in a specific geographic location
  • customers that have special requirements for delivery/invoicing/etc.


This allows for a quick search to be done, using the customer tag, to identify groups for:

  • marketing campaigns
  • marketing lists
  • deliveries
  • invoicing
  • purchase orders
