Budget Periods are a set time frame that will be set for each occurrence of the budget. The Budget Period is determined by the Frequency set on the budget.
If the frequency is set as One Time, the budget period will be based on the budget's start and end date.
If the frequency is set as a recurring time frame (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly), a new budget period will automatically be created based on the selected frequency until the budget end date is reached.
Example:
If the budget frequency is weekly, a new budget period will be created every 7 days until the budget end date is reached.
Budget periods can also be added by clicking {New} under the Items section.
Note: If you edit the budget details, any budget periods already created will not have changes automatically applied to it.
