If a contact has been assigned the role 'Online Order Placer - Needs Approval', you will need to set an approver for them on their Contact Edit page. The contact will not require approval to place orders if an approver has not been designated.  


Note: Before an approver can be added to a contact, one of the company employees should have been assigned the role of 'Online Order Approver'.


To Add an Approver to a Contact:

Step     Action 

  1.       From the Contact edit modal window, select {Online Ordering} on the right-hand side of screen 

            to auto scroll to the Online Ordering section.

   The contact's role should display as 'Online Order Placer - Needs Approval'

   

   Note: On a newly created contact, an initial save needs to be done on the Contact modal prior 

   to adding approvers. If you attempt to add approvers without having saved the modal first, an 

   error message will generate.


  2.       Select options from the Level 1 drop-down. 


            Notes: 

  • Only contacts for that company with the role 'Online Order Approver' will appear in the drop-down.
  • Multiple individuals can be assigned to each approval level but only one is required for an order to be approved.
  • Additional levels for approvers can be added by selecting the + icon to the right-hand 

                 side of the drop-down. The additional approver levels will automatically be removed if there 

                 are no names in the drop-down.   

 

  3.       Select {Save}. A results window will pop-up to indicate the online ordering section has been 

            saved.


Adding an Order Approver

Step     Action

  1.       From the Contact Edit modal, scroll to Approvers under the Online Ordering section.

  2.      Select the field below Level 1 under Approvers and then select a contact from the 

           drop-down menu. 


           Note: 

  • Only contacts for that company with the role 'Online Order Approver' will appear in the drop-down.
  • Multiple contacts can be added for each approval level.  
  • To add additional levels of approval, select the + icon on the right hand side of an 

         Approver field.


  3.        Select {Save}. A results window will pop-up to confirm Online Ordering details saved.
