DocketManager uses two-factor authentication to safeguard your site data. When you log in you will be prompted to Verify your identity by entering a code that will be sent the email address listed in your user profile (Settings > Admin > Account > Edit Profile).
Remember Me
By checking the Remember Me box the system will refrain from asking for another code for 30 days.
If you are being asked for a 2FA Code every time you log in make sure that the url in the address bar is http://yoursitelinkname.docketmanager.net. The Remember Me option is specific to that address and you may be prompted to verify if you are trying to access http://yoursitelinkname.docketmanager.net/Settings for example.
2FA Troubleshooting
If you are still having trouble, here are some settings that may help.
Go to chrome://settings/cookies and make sure cookies are allowed. The best option for troubleshooting is “Allow all cookies.”
In that same section, make sure “Clear cookies and site data when you close all windows” is turned off.
Add the site that handles 2FA (docketmanager.net) to the “Sites that can always use cookies” list and check the box to include third-party cookies.
Disable any extensions related to privacy, security, or session management (like uBlock Origin, Ghostery, antivirus plugins) by going to chrome://extensions and turning them off.
Open chrome://policy and look for any active policies. Focus on policies like ClearBrowsingDataOnExit, CookiesSessionOnlyForUrls, and anything affecting session persistence.
If this is happening on multiple systems, check Group Policy settings on the domain. Look under Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Google > Google Chrome > Content Settings and make sure no policy is forcing session cleanup.
Try Incognito Mode to see if the problem persists. If it works, it’s likely an extension or profile issue.
Create a new Chrome profile and try logging in again.
If using antivirus or security software with browser control features, check if it’s clearing cookies or blocking session storage in Chrome.
