Sometimes it is necessary to ship to a contact that is not available in your system. The contact name may be used once and therefore does not require being added as a Contact in the CRM. A custom contact can be added by following the instructions below.
Add a Custom Contact Name
- At the Order level click on the + icon to the right of Shipments
- Fill out the appropriate Shipment details
- Hover over Destination Address and click the Edit pencil
- Click on the Contact Dropdown
- Type in the name of the Contact
- Press Enter
Using Location Name in place of Customer Name ignores the Order Customer and uses Address Name instead.
